Cellulite can occur at any point in life from puberty and forward. And for about 9 out of 10 women it will turn up at some point in life. However, there are periods in life that are normally coinciding with cellulite, the most commonly known are during pregnancy or around the menopause.

Your diet and lifestyle before and during pregnancy are great factors in preventing it. Too high intake of carbohydrates, fat or salt is not advisable. Smoking will often contribute to an increase problem with cellulite.
The best tips for prevention before pregnancy is to follow a healthy diet with loads of fibre and vegetables. Lean meats such as poultry is preferable to other types of meat. Fish should be part of the diet, most of all oily fish.
Regular exercise keeps the body in shape as well as the subcutaneous fat on a healthy level. Doing exercise of various degrees may even be combined with a fat burning supplement when you need quick means against cellulite.
During pregnancy it is important to really try to eat healthy and do some regular light exercise – this should be your goal.
